Museum day

I know this is from a few months back but I am working on posting more stuff.  My husband really likes to read about the adventures and activities we are doing.  To be honest, I like that he is interested and always asking what is the latest updates.  So, let tell you what is going on here.  Well, I had rolled Audrey's hair is foam rollers over night which caused her hair to be SUPER curly.  Now, do not get me wrong, I love Audrey's hair the way God had made it but when it is curly is so CUTE!  So we went to the children's museum to play for a bit.  So with camera in tow this are some of the shots I got.

So beautiful.

Here they are getting all geared up to be baby doctors.

This gives a glimpse of my sweet Lauren and a dear mama herself.

I like how all of the kiddos frame Lauren in this shot.

So serious...

Now let the show begin!

She had me cracking up with her performance.  I love how she tries so hard to get me to laugh!  I hope it made you smile as well.  Have an amazing day!

Trick or Treat

Well, I finally got a minute to sit down and process my Halloween photos and I have to admit...I am so excited!  I love my girls and they did so good at looking at the camera!  Of course, I am so thankful that my girls are such girly girls.  Especially after seeing so many trick a treaters that were dressed up as characters that were mostly scary!  I mean seriously...is it really necessary to be so gross or scary!  Of course, the girls did not say a single word or look scared.  They had laser like focus on getting candy!  I was laughing because by the end of the night Audrey was asking specifically for chocolate.  I guess she could tell her chocolate ratio to all of the other kind of candy was not in balance.  Another important element that made this Halloween so cool was having the wonderful opportunity to join our dear friends Brenda and John at their cool house to celebrate!  What can I say...we all had a great time.  So, below are loads of pictures.  Enjoy!

Audrey was Snow White for Halloween.  It was funny to see the people wanting to say Cinderella instead of Snow White because Audrey's hair was not black.

Lauren was a Ballerina.  She would only keep her hair in a bun for a short period.  Then she was done and wanted her hair down.  I have to admit people had a hard time identifying her as well because she would not wear ballerina shoes either.  I think she just wanted to wear a pretty dress.

And off they go to collect candy!

These are not very focused but I love them anyway.  I heard the other day that when a child is born a mom is born as well.  It really touched me and these pictures remind that my sweet girls are helping me to be the best mom I can be.  I love them so and I am so thankful for their love and understanding when so often I get it wrong.

My babe enjoyed taking our girls.  It was such a wonderful family event!

Can you tell someone is so VERY EXCITED about candy!

This was my attempt to get a shot similar to Karen Russell.  It is a bit dark but there were not too many fences where we were trick or treating.

All done.  Here is is the witch and Snow White.  So confusing!!!

Happy Halloween Everyone!

Dinner Fun!

OK...For those who know me knows that I am a bit goofy!  Each day that goes by I know that my girls definitely have some of my goofy traits.  Well, the girls and I were having a blast while having dinner one night.  It all started with Audrey putting a napkin on her head.  Audrey loves to make people laugh.  So, when she saw me laughing at her funny head gear she was happy to let me capture some shots.  What was so funny is that Lauren started being funny as well.  I am sure with these two, I will be doubled over with laughter for me many years to come.  Every time I see these pictures I start laughing because my girls are so funny.  I hope you enjoy them as well.

I love the progression of different faces.

Lauren does not have the same progression of faces changes like Audrey.

But she can show me her muscles!  Can you see it as well?

Can you see the choreography in their dance move?  By this time I am laughing so hard I can barely keep taking pictures.

Lauren's moods change so quickly...

So quickly!

I hope you all have a fun dinner soon with those you love.  I am so thankful that my girls keep me laughing.
